Top 5 Food and Drink Apps on Android in Oceania, Q3 2024

The third quarter of 2024 witnessed dynamic performance among the top food and drink applications on the Android platform in Oceania. Based on data from Sensor Tower, these apps demonstrated varied trends in weekly downloads and active user engagement.

MyMacca's saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 47K in early September before tapering off to around 24.9K by the end of the month. This rise was mirrored in its weekly active users, which climbed from around 231K at the start of the quarter to over 305K by the end of September.

BWS experienced a decrease in weekly downloads over the quarter, starting at around 21K and declining to about 6.1K by the end of September. However, its active user base showed resilience, with fluctuations that began at 45.8K and ended at 41.4K.

DoorDash - Food Delivery maintained a relatively stable download rate in the earlier part of the quarter, peaking at 20.6K mid-July, but then saw a gradual decline to 11.4K by September's close. Despite this, its active user base remained robust, increasing from 405K to approximately 441K by the end of the quarter.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery demonstrated a steady growth in weekly downloads, starting at 7.8K in early July and reaching a high of 18.7K by mid-September. The app's active users also grew over the quarter, from around 457K to an impressive 458K.

Lastly, Hungry Jack’s Deals & Ordering exhibited a mixed trend. Downloads initially grew, hitting a peak of 16.5K in early August before falling to 5.2K by the end of September. The app's active users saw a similar trend, starting at 56K, peaking at 71.9K, and finishing the quarter at 55.8K.
